You’ve most likely landed here through a link I shared. Thanks for checking in.

This is a kind of preview – about a book, a work in progress. It’s a personal project, written quietly and honestly, over time. I’m not actually a writer. I’m a designer. I design things. But I believe I have something to say – insights worth sharing.

So now, I’m sharing some of it here. In the hope that it might spark your curiosity.  This is a teaser of a book with  42 chapters written and visualised with personal photos and images.  I’m looking for someone to help take the next step – to bring the book into the world, publish it and to make it available.

Mind Your Creativity. Fortytwo thoughts on creativity, design, and why you should own a manual espresso machine...

This is not a guidebook. It’s not a manifesto. It’s a collection of reflections – moments, stories, and patterns I’ve noticed from a life lived inside creativity and design. It’s not written as a biography or a showcase. It’s written from along the way – like a conversation, from one creative to another.

Some thoughts are short. Others linger.
Some come with a smile. Others bring questions I haven’t quite answered myself.
Many are not for me to answer but rather to inspire you to explore your creativity.

A book that now is ready for the next step.

“What if the real insights don’t come from the end result – but from everything just before it?

This is not the story of how things turned out.
It’s about how they became..”

To take the next step, to make this book real and available.
I’m looking for someone who sees the potential too.
I think this an exciting beginning.

If that might be you, I’d love to talk.

Warm regards,

Who is Jesper Ståhl?

I’m a Swedish designer, creating things with a passion for storytelling. I studied at the Royal College of Art in London in the mid-nineties, and today I work from my studio in Jönköping, Sweden. Over the years, my work has been recognised with awards such as Design S, DesignPlus, Core Design, multiple Elle Decoration Design Awards, and Red Dot Design Awards. My journey is far from over. I’m still exploring, still curious about what lies ahead. Perhaps it’s the next design project, perhaps it is a book…Discover more of my story at www.jesperstahl.com
